Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler, a Z-grade movie reviewer, is known for her sarcastic appreciation for silly action movies and horror movies. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website remained online until the early days of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled to Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her very first film. She also appeared as a guest star in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. It reviews horrendous film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult humor. She began in late 2009 reviewing films, and began to gain a following on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the network's family of movie critics. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
